Real Estate Brokerages Expand Their Networks

Real Estate Brokerages Expand Their Networks

The real estate industry continues to see major brokerage changes as leading firms recruit experienced teams, add new affiliates and expand into new markets. Recent moves include a luxury team with more than $750 million in career sales joining The Real Brokerage, an Arizona firm affiliating with Century 21, and two established teams returning to Christie’s International Real Estate New York.

These changes reflect a wider effort among brokerages to attract productive agents, strengthen their brands and reach more clients. Companies are also investing in technology, marketing, training and referral networks to help agents grow their businesses. Meanwhile, luxury firms are expanding their geographic reach to serve buyers, sellers and investors across more markets.

Real Estate Expansion Brings a $750M Team to Real

Joy Aumann and Robert Aumann, founders of LUXURYSOCALREALTY, have joined The Real Brokerage. Their 10-member team will become part of Real’s luxury division, expanding the company’s presence across Southern California’s coastal communities.

The team has generated more than $750 million in career sales volume. It specializes in luxury coastal properties, oceanfront estates and second homes. Its main service areas include La Jolla, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Pacific Beach and Solana Beach.

The move strengthens Real’s position in a region known for high-end residential properties and affluent buyers. By adding an established team with a strong local presence, the brokerage can build on its existing network while pursuing additional opportunities in Southern California.

Real Chief Growth Officer Jason Cassity praised the team for developing a recognizable luxury brand. He described the business as one of San Diego’s notable luxury real estate operations and highlighted its ability to connect with high-end clients.

Robert Aumann said Real offers agents the opportunity to develop their own brands while benefiting from a larger professional community. That combination played an important role in the team’s decision to join the brokerage.

Joy Aumann also highlighted the company’s cloud-based platform. She said the technology gives the team an opportunity to build on its established business in San Diego while reaching new markets.

Looking ahead, the team plans to continue serving its existing clients while exploring growth opportunities in Orange County, Riverside and Palm Desert. These markets could provide additional opportunities to serve luxury buyers and sellers across Southern California.

The move illustrates how established teams can use a larger brokerage’s resources to support expansion without abandoning the identity they have already built. For Real, the addition also brings experienced agents and a substantial record of completed transactions into its luxury division.

Century 21 Adds a 53-Agent Arizona Affiliate

Century 21 is expanding its network in Arizona through an affiliation with Indie Realty, a Tucson-based brokerage with 53 agents. The company will now operate under the name Century 21 Indie Realty as it prepares for further growth across southern Arizona.

Broker-owner and CEO Don Geisler founded the firm five years ago. Since then, the brokerage has served residential and commercial clients across Tucson, Oro Valley, Marana, Vail, Sahuarita, Green Valley and Corona de Tucson.

Branch Manager Jacque Torres oversees daily operations. She brings 10 years of real estate experience and serves clients throughout Pima County.

Through the affiliation, Indie Realty will gain access to Century 21’s technology, marketing resources, lead-generation tools, training and coaching programs. These services can help agents improve their business operations, connect with potential clients and build stronger relationships with buyers and sellers.

The brokerage also has plans to expand its physical presence. It intends to open two additional offices in the Tucson metropolitan area before considering a move farther north.

That approach allows the company to strengthen its position in southern Arizona first. Additional offices could improve local coverage, support agent recruitment and help the firm serve a wider range of residential and commercial clients.

Geisler said he founded Indie Realty with the goal of building a dynamic organization that appeals to both agents and consumers. He added that this mission will remain central to the company’s identity following the affiliation.

For Century 21, the agreement adds an established local brokerage and dozens of agents to its network. For Indie Realty, the partnership provides access to a larger brand and additional resources while the company continues pursuing its regional growth plans.

Christie’s New York Welcomes Two Teams

Christie’s International Real Estate New York has added the Daniel Kramp Team and Morrel Hirsch & Advisors Team to its roster. The move brings 18 people to the brokerage from The Agency One Rock, a former Christie’s affiliate that left the brand in June.

The additions strengthen the firm’s presence in New York’s luxury market. They also bring substantial transaction experience and specialized client services to the brokerage.

The Daniel Kramp Team is led by Daniel Kramp, whose career sales volume totals nearly $1 billion, according to the announcement. His experience gives the brokerage another established team with a significant record of working with high-value properties.

Kramp said he was pleased to return to Christie’s International Real Estate. He noted that clients value the brand’s heritage and exclusivity, along with the international exposure it can provide.

For luxury buyers and sellers, access to a global network can be important when marketing properties to clients outside the local market. The affiliation allows Kramp’s team to continue serving its existing clientele while drawing on the brokerage’s established international identity.

The second addition, Morrel Hirsch & Advisors, is an 11-agent team led by Howard Morrel and Leslie Hirsch. The team represents luxury buyers and sellers and will continue operating as Christie’s International Real Estate’s Trusts & Estates Division.

Its work includes sales and valuations involving estate and trust properties. These transactions can require close coordination with families, fiduciaries and professional advisers, making specialized experience particularly valuable.

Morrel and Hirsch have completed more than $3.5 billion in combined transactions. Their experience includes advising clients on complex property matters in addition to representing traditional buyers and sellers.

Morrel said the team’s business has always depended on strong client relationships. He highlighted its work across New York and its role in helping families and professional advisers manage complicated real estate decisions.

He added that Christie’s provides a platform for continuing that work at a high level. The affiliation therefore combines the team’s specialized services with the brokerage’s luxury positioning and international reach.

Together, the two teams add substantial experience to Christie’s New York operation. The move also demonstrates how brokerage affiliations can help firms retain experienced professionals and expand the services they offer to clients.

Several other companies have announced leadership changes, new team additions and initiatives designed to support agent growth. These developments show that competition for experienced professionals remains an important part of brokerage strategy.

Compass Welcomes Back a Chicago Founder

Compass has announced that Perry Minter, a founder of Compass Chicago, is returning to the company as associate sales manager at its Windy City location.

Minter described the move as feeling like coming home. In her new role, she plans to support agents, help them grow their businesses and provide guidance as they navigate their careers.

Compass Regional Vice President Fran Broude praised Minter’s understanding of the company’s culture, technology platform and working methods. Broude said that familiarity positions her to make an immediate contribution to the office.

The appointment brings an experienced leader back into a market where agent support and recruitment remain important. By drawing on Minter’s existing knowledge of the business, Compass can strengthen its local leadership and help agents make better use of its resources.

The Agency Adds a New York Team

The Agency has expanded its New York City operations by bringing Michael Holt and The Holt Team into the brokerage.

Holt previously worked at Compass, where he closed approximately $39.5 million in sales volume during the preceding 12 months. He began his real estate career more than 12 years ago and brings experience serving clients across New York and Florida.

Team members Daniel Lochnicki and Mike DiJune are joining him in the move. According to the announcement, the team takes a technology-focused approach to its work.

Its experience across two states may help the brokerage serve clients whose property interests extend beyond a single market. The addition also gives The Agency another established group with a record of sales activity and an existing professional network.

For brokerages, recruiting productive teams can offer a direct route to expanding market presence. These additions can bring existing client relationships, local knowledge and business experience that would take time to develop from scratch.

Realty of America Launches Young Producers Network

Realty of America has introduced its Young Producers Network, a national initiative for the company’s agents aged 30 and under.

The program aims to give younger professionals a place to exchange ideas, build referral networks and discuss career goals. Members will also be able to share the challenges they face while developing their businesses.

The initiative is intended to help young agents learn from people who have already built successful careers. By sharing practical knowledge and professional connections, the network aims to reduce costly mistakes and help members reach their goals sooner.

Founder and CEO Eddie Garcia said the company wants to support young agents, invest in their development and connect them with experienced professionals who can help open doors.

The launch reflects a broader focus on agent development within the brokerage industry. Newer professionals often need guidance on finding clients, building a reputation and managing the demands of a growing business. A dedicated network can give them more opportunities to learn from colleagues and establish useful relationships.

It may also benefit the brokerage by strengthening agent engagement and encouraging younger professionals to build their long-term careers within the organization.

Christie’s Expands Into St. Lucia

Christie’s International Real Estate is also extending its reach in the Eastern Caribbean with the launch of a new location in St. Lucia.

Christie’s St. Lucia is owned by Dominique Silvera and Kisha Hunte. Silvera also owns Christie’s locations in Barbados and Anguilla, giving the new business a connection to the brand’s existing regional presence.

Chris Owen will lead the St. Lucia operation. He brings more than a decade of local real estate experience, according to the announcement.

The expansion aims to connect local market knowledge with the international brokerage’s network. St. Lucia offers resorts and residential properties that may appeal to overseas buyers, sellers and investors seeking opportunities in the Caribbean.

Silvera highlighted the island’s combination of high-quality resorts and residences with a distinctive local character. She also pointed to opportunities to serve a growing international client base through the brokerage’s global connections.

The new office adds another location to Christie’s regional network. It could help connect prospective international buyers with local property expertise while giving sellers access to a broader audience.

Brokerage Growth Remains a Key Industry Strategy

The latest announcements highlight several ways real estate companies are pursuing growth. Some are recruiting established teams with strong sales records, while others are affiliating with larger brands to gain technology, marketing and training support.

Luxury brokerages are also extending their geographic reach. The Real Brokerage’s addition of the Aumann team strengthens its Southern California presence, while Christie’s is adding experienced teams in New York and expanding into St. Lucia.

Meanwhile, Century 21’s agreement with Indie Realty shows how a local firm can use a national brand’s resources to support further expansion. Realty of America’s Young Producers Network takes a different approach by focusing on the development and retention of younger agents.

Although each move serves a different purpose, the common goal is to strengthen business relationships and create more opportunities for growth. For agents, an affiliation may provide access to a broader platform, improved marketing and new referral sources. For brokerages, attracting experienced professionals can expand their client base and improve their competitive position.

As firms continue to compete for agents and clients, recruitment, training and international reach are likely to remain important parts of their strategies. These latest changes show how companies are adjusting their networks to pursue new opportunities in both established and emerging markets.
