The 60,801 sq ft speculative development is positioned in a well-established commercial hub in the West Midlands. As a result, the new facility will allow Sonas Bathrooms to expand its UK operations while also supporting its growing customer base and workforce.
The property has been designed with a strong focus on sustainability and operational efficiency. It holds a BREEAM Excellent certification and an EPC A rating. In addition, smart energy solutions such as solar power and advanced climate control systems have been incorporated, creating a future-ready environment.
Redditch continues to emerge as a strategic location for occupiers. The town benefits from a strong manufacturing base and a skilled local workforce. Moreover, its location—just 16 miles south of Birmingham and close to the M5 and M42 motorways—ensures convenient access to major business hubs and international airports.
Avison Young represented Custodian Capital in the transaction, working alongside Garrison Real Estate, while Band Capital advised Sonas Bathrooms. This collaboration reflects the growing demand for high-quality industrial and logistics space.
According to Sam Pearson, Associate Director at Avison Young, Alto 60 presents a valuable opportunity for Sonas Bathrooms to accelerate growth. He noted that the combination of high specifications and sustainability credentials makes the development particularly attractive for modern business needs.
Meanwhile, Eoin Greenwood, Portfolio Manager at Custodian Capital, emphasized that the successful letting demonstrates the effectiveness of upgrading assets within the portfolio. He added that the company looks forward to supporting Sonas Bathrooms as it strengthens its UK market presence in the coming years.
